I am such a pushover for a good incense perfume. Churchy, temple, forest, hippy (ok, not so much hippy). Closed room, or open air. Simple or complex. With flowers, stones, snuffed-out candles, aldehydes, herbs, woods, lemon, salt, beeswax, or whatever, I’m going to want to at least try it.

The whole “man” thing is a post for another day…but Mark Buxton’s atmospheric @commedesgarconsparfum CDG 2 Man is still one the bottles I will always replace as I start to run low. (I think this is my third.) Even if it is one of those maddening bottles that feels good in the hand but can’t stand up.
