Fragrant while flying: horrible scent crime or the only way to deal? Hermes Osmanthus Yunnan is my standard choice for plane travel: light enough that I don’t fumigate the plane or gas fellow passengers, good enough and present enough to be worth wearing. “Light” and “pleasant” and “fresh” aren’t the qualities that usually determine which perfume to wear, but, OY is exactly that, and just helps break up the stale recycled air and combination of boredom and stress.
I keep something more full-bodied on hand to dab right under my nose in case I sit next to a stinker, though.
And, obviously, I spent ages mucking about choosing travel sprays and samples and making decants while deciding what to take with me on my trip. A dozen choices for a ten day trip isn’t even slightly excessive…And yes, I have packed a dinosaur or two.
Do you wear perfume when you travel, or consider that an abomination?
