Decisions, decisions… If you are not a signature scent type of person, and have multiple bottles of perfume as well as a stash of samples that seem to breed when you don’t keep an eye on them, how do you choose which fragrance to wear each day? Do your bottles get neglected in favour of shiny new possibilities in 2ml vials, or do you find it hard to give skin time to the unknown when favourites are sitting on the shelf?
I love discovering new things but despite rarely wearing the same scent two days in a row, I only reach for the samples once a week, maybe once a fortnight. Testing sessions with multiples dabs or spritzes up and down the arms just fuzz together for me–the most I can do is the back of each hand to compare two scents. I don’t seem to be able to wear more than one at once and make sense of the experience. Too easily confused!
So this wee bowl has at least three month’s worth of new sniffs for me to look forward to (and a couple on a second round as they proving their place on my wishlist: Au Couer du Desert and Anubis.)
How much time and skin do you make available for new things?
