MEM: bogue profumo

I don’t have synaesthesia, but sometimes @bogue_profumo makes me feel that I do.

MEM feels like it is made with light, like walking through an Olafur Eliasson installation. “Beauty” springs to mind–the shimmering rainbow spray in a partially lit room–or “Gravity Stairs” in Seoul for the movement through different dimensions, glowing reflections and multilayered perspectives. (MAAI feels more like Cornelia Parker’s “Cold Dark Matter”, all about the shadows and space between the pieces.)

You could spend forever trying to unpick MEM’s notes, but why? I’d rather spin around inside Gardoni’s abstract, shapeshifting illuminations.

If you see me randomly smiling on the street, I’m probably wearing MEM.
