Rich Mess opens with a frenetic quick-cut movie montage of a wild night out, dropping you straight into a high-speed sensory overload of music and lights in rooms packed with dancing, drinking bodies –and some, for sure, are doused with The Zoo NYC’s Club Design and Fig My Love.
There’s so much whirling movement in the bergamot, grapefruit and fig that it takes a while to notice the heady leather and lily under that bright chatter and flash. But this is a long night, and there’s plenty of time to get up to warm mischief in dark corners.
There might be a long walk home –I’d say at dawn, but it’s probably mid-afternoon– with sore feet, panda-eyed mascara, and a hollow head, but call it the walk of shame at your peril. Because why denigrate such a good time? Especially when you still smell this good.
Ryan Richmond’s scent, made by the wickedly creative @christophelaudamiel is witty and brazen and sexy as hell, promising a new adventure with every wear.
